Tom Lowden, BA, GBA
Tom’s comprehensive approach to financial planning includes taking both an offensive and defensive approach. Working closely with his clients, he asses their current financial and personal circumstances, while taking into account their future goals and objectives.
Of particular interest to Tom is assisting in the deaccumulation of assets in retirement. As a personal insurance specialist with 30 years’ experience, Tom is also passionate about showing clients how insurance can used as both an asset class and a strategic method to reducing estate taxes.
Tom is graduate of Western University and holds the designations of Professional Financial Advisor (PFA™) and Group Benefits Associate (GBA). He is a member of Advocis and is currently enrolled and studying toward the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Karen Lowden, BA
Karen is a life licensed account executive providing sales support in the areas of insurance and estate planning at LOWDENCLEAR Wealth Management Inc.. Joining the firm in 2015, she came with valuable experience having worked at two major financial institutions and two insurance companies. Karen also gained experience as a small business owner, running a nutritional consulting firm for approximately five years.
As the Compliance Officer, Karen ensures LOWDENCLEAR Wealth Management Inc. is in full compliance with appropriate regulatory bodies, such as the Financial Securities Commission of Ontario (FSCO).
Karen is a graduate of York University and has completed the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP).
